Will my phone work?
The app supports Android 7 and newer. The tape measure and area need an ARCore-compatible device with Google Play Services for AR. The level and angle finder use the phone's sensors. The ruler, settings and history don't require ARCore. Sharing an AR snapshot requires Android 8.
Can it replace a regular tape measure?
It's handy for estimating sizes. But camera measurements are approximate: the result depends on light, the surface and tracking. For cutting, installation and anything where an error matters, double-check with a physical measuring tool.
How do I get more stable measurements?
Choose a well-lit, textured surface. Let the camera recognise it and move the phone smoothly, keeping the distance to the object where possible. Glass, mirrors, glare and plain surfaces can interfere with tracking.
Does measuring need the internet?
Measurements and history work locally. You'll need a connection to install or update the app and Google Play Services for AR, and to buy or restore Pro.
Where can I download Pocket Measure?
Pocket Measure is available in RuStore. Installation is free; Pro can be bought inside the app after you've checked AR on your phone.
